A research partner that the executive, creative, brand, product & design teams can respect (and laugh with), while working toward shared goals…a professional with a unique background in marketing research, comedy and law that has served me—and more importantly, my clients—well for 25 years… Research, comedy and law all involve seeking fresh perspectives, detecting patterns, and revealing truths. I'm driven by a fascination with human behavior, making connections that spur new ideas, the empowerment of others, and the unlocking of our shared humanity. This combination benefits my clients, whether in corporate, political or nonprofit work. I can relate to almost anyone… I’ve performed for, presented to, and led conversations with thousands of people of all ages and walks of life. I use humor to make them feel comfortable; I ask probing questions, listen, engage, and learn in order to glean insights—all indispensable elements of valuable research that lead to compelling marketing. I get it… When we receive feedback on your products and packaging, concepts and communications, I know what it feels like to have one’s creations “judged,” and I understand how to put that feedback in the context of everything else that affects your decision-making. I help turn ‘WTF?’ into ‘WhaT iF…?’ When you want to blue-sky a white-space opportunity, I draw on techniques from improvisational theatre to empower your team to come up with creative solutions.
