Marc is an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer with deep expertise in technology, data, and information management and governance. Marc applies his expertise to advance strategic projects across CPP Investments, including AI enablement and governance, advanced data analytics, and complex technology and intellectual property engagements. Marc leads information management, privacy, AI governance, and incident management within the Legal Department at CPP Investments, overseeing legal and compliance activities and providing guidance to support the fund's investment and enterprise activities globally. Previously, Marc led enterprise contracting at CPP Investments, structuring and negotiating a broad range of technology and service engagements to advance the fund’s strategic objectives. Marc has prior in-house experience in technology integration, payments, fintech, data management and enterprise innovation in a highly-regulated environment, and a background in corporate restructuring and insolvency, distressed lending and M&A, asset securitization and financial services at one of Canada’s leading law firms.
