About Marc Forcier

In my roles as the Community Programs Intern, Digitization Assistant, and Archives Assistant with non-profit organization, The Reach Gallery Museum, I worked daily in a variety of roles, where I was not just the intern or archivist but also Reach ambassador, installation assistant, development officer, staff, customer and volunteer support guru, marketing and content development guru, to name a few. I’m not only accustomed to sport many hats, I embrace it. I prosper in an environment where no two work days are exactly the same. It is precisely my ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, along with my ability to lead day-to-day operations, that I am applying for this position. In my role as VP of Black Connections, I recently received the 2019 title of “Champion of Diversity” due to my ability to build an inclusive community, providing clients/customers with accessible environments. This title was a result of my capability to coordinate numerous networks, logistics, and communication mediums to keep audiences engaged and make successful advancements when issues arise that are beyond the control of the club. Again, this involved not only managing club operations but communicating directly with partners, sponsors, and club members. As a result, I believe my combined ability to successfully manage club operations while effectively overseeing community engagement, all while maintaining a full time school load, and full-time work, makes me a prime candidate for this. You will find me to be lively, confident, and personable. I am the type of person on whom you can rely on. My wide breadth of experience is the type that gives you the flexibility for me to serve in a number of contexts with confidence that the level of excellence expected will be met.
