As an experienced Office Manager I have been responsible for leading on all operational aspects for the office, conferences and publishing. In this extensive role I was also involved in maintaining website, IT and database management. Foremost among my achievements was conflict resolution both in the office and at conference which ensured minimal disruption in both areas. I was also able to keep to timelines of the publishing of various publications and arranging timely courier shipments to worldwide destinations. I successfully project managed tasks for both Mediscript Managing Directors overseeing the smooth relocation of I.T. and other equipment between floors ready for tenants to move into the building. As Office Manager at the Liberal Democrats I project managed the outfitting of the office space to ensure it was Covid-19 compliant and monitored the numbers of employees allowed to return to work safely in the office during the lockdown period. I provided support in the goal of the party in hosting it’s first online broadcast of their Autumn 2020 Autumn Conference assisting the conference and audio/visual teams with their logistics, providing catering for employees and visitors, maintaining the health and safety of all individuals working during the event.At Local Partnerships I accomplished the successful completion, before expiry, of the annual Government backed Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification assessments and maintaining the robustness of the company’s IT systems against any cyber threats. For the company’s ICT estate I managed the IT refresh programme replacing older unreliable laptops and iPhones with new equipment enabling employees to have their work be supported by an effective IT experience.
