About Marc Hinderlong
I have run dozens of Marathons and more than a dozen Ultra Marathons. Even though my body will argue that there is no justifiable reason to continue, the spirit functions independently of logic. Despite bad weather, mental and physical fatigue, dehydration, I keep going. I have been working at ABB for 30 years in the Pulp & Paper Industry. The last 20 as an Applications Engineer. Building of a complete control system from a couple of blank servers is incredibly gratifying. The ever changing technology and new challenges per project makes this job highly rewarding. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family and being outside. I often have several home projects and maintenance items to do. I also enjoy my weekend long run early in the morning before my family wakes. Put in my ear buds and stream “Stuff You Should Know” and put one foot in front of the other.
