Accomplished engineering manager and individual contributor with a focus on continuous improvement and root cause analysis. Strong business acumen in defining team strategies and priorities. Extensive experience resolving customer and supplier issues. Expertise in material properties and physical failure analysis. I’ve worked in the semiconductor field for over 30 years, manufacturing high performance CCD image sensors. Our product portfolio included a high degree of mix from very low volume specialty products to at-capacity high volume. I’ve had the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the product life cycle from technology development and reliability assessment to volume manufacturing, which includes wafer fabrication, package assembly, production testing, as well as material supply and customer returns. The CCD products at ON Semiconductor, however, reached end of life in 2020. I believe my broad experience, leadership, and drive for continuous improvement will facilitate success in future challenges.
