About Marc Jacobs

Recognizing the largely untapped potential of properly managed cultural diversity in every aspect of our globalized world, I joined Hofstede Insights, a global network of specialist consultants in Intercultural Management and Organizational Culture. We build on the academic work of the world-renowned Prof. Geert Hofstede to provide commercial as well as not-for-profit organizations with the management tools & systems they need to be more effective in today's multi-cultural, highly diverse world. I co-authored the book 'Negotiate like a local' which provides a practical tool to deal with the intercultural challenges in international business. The English version is published on Amazon in paperback & kindle format. It was featured by London Business School on their recommended holiday reading list in 2021. A Mandarin version is published by Fudan University Press (one of the top 3 universities in China) As investor in, and Executive Chairman of Molecular Plasma Group, I aim to have a scalable positive impact on society by bringing a new Key Enabling Technology to market. We provide innovative eco-friendly surface functionalization solutions that can replace highly toxic, chemicals-based systems in a wide range of industries such as advanced composites, biomedical technology, etc.
