Background

About Marc Jansing

My career has been dedicated to providing a practical approach to environmental compliance and delivering projects efficiently, all while maintaining a passion for environmental stewardship. As an Environmental Project Planner at the Texas Department of Transportation, I coordinate and manage compliance with NEPA and equivalent state environmental laws, and serve as a liaison with state and federal resource agencies, environmental and special interest groups, consultant project partners, and internal project sponsors. This role has been a culmination of my experience in environmental technical analysis and reporting, Environmental Management System implementation, resource agency coordination, and project management. I take pride in overseeing a project’s environmental analysis from the early scoping and scheduling phase through technical analysis to environmental clearance and ultimate construction. I believe my unique experience in overseeing these project stages in different roles has allowed me to develop a focused approach to project management and to anticipate challenges and constraints prior to them impacting a projects schedule.
