Background

About Marc Johnston

I am a distinguished military professional, currently transitioning from the Military with an exit date of Jan 25. Throughout my 21-year career, I have accumulated a wealth of experience in a variety of roles, culminating in my recent position where I am responsible for the management and leadership of teams of up to sixty personnel in complex trial scenarios. I have a proven track record of promotions, which I attribute to outstanding commitment and performance. Progressing through the ranks, I have developed an amicable and personable approach to leadership, seamlessly adapting my communication style to handle high-pressure scenarios, such as tours of Afghanistan. This adaptability has enabled me to influence decisions, liaise effectively with key stakeholders, both military and civilian, and promote a socially and culturally aware approach to work. Equally comfortable with strategic thinking, and innovation, as with detail-oriented projects, I am widely regarded as a subject matter expert in complex topics such as trials, and lethality-and-survivability. I leverage my broad skillset and holistic approach to quickly adapting to new challenges and environments, maintaining diplomacy and quality whilst learning. In my approach to problem-solving, I consistently adopt a results-driven mindset, always working with integrity, honesty, and respect. These values are fundamental to my professional ethos, guiding my actions and decisions throughout my career.
