About Marc Kohn

Since I was young, I have always wanted to be in the real estate field. There were, and still are, so many different aspects that intrigue me. Something or other is always happening in the industry, regardless of what is going on in the world at large. Whether the market is up or down at the moment, someone is always looking to do something; buy or sell a property, invest in commercial real estate, simply stated - broker a profitable deal. The real estate field allows one to a diverse group of people and observe how they think and strategize. There are so many investors and yet, each one has their own, unique take on the industry at that current time. Add to the mix, the fact that no two days are the alike. One day you are touring an 8-unit multifamily building in the East Village and the next day you are in Florida, closing on a high-end retail property. There is also the non-stop hustle – the pursuit of the next deal. The highs and lows, the adrenaline rush - it is all something special. Lastly, there is the great satisfaction of driving by a building and having the ability to say, “Yes, I sold that!” I manage the business development and operations at KFIR Capital and am involved in sourcing of potential opportunities and the underwriting process.
