About Marc Krestin

I am an attorney in private practice specialising in international dispute resolution with a focus on corporate and commercial litigation, group litigation as well as international commercial and investment arbitration. Having lived and/or worked in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and France, I consider myself a true European citizen. My experience includes acting as counsel in civil proceedings before local courts, class action litigation as well as in international and domestic arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL and NAI rules, with a focus on energy, environmental, infrastructure, financial services, commercial and post M&A disputes. I also act as arbitrator in commercial arbitrations. I advise private investors and States on investment protection under investment treaties, as well as on public international law issues, ESG and third-party funding. I am a member of the ESG Arbitration Subcommittee of the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Arbitration Commission of the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA), the Investment Arbitration Committee of the Dutch Arbitration Association (DAA), as well as LCIA YIAG, ICC YAAF, ICDR Y&I and RAI. I regularly speak, teach and publish on topics of international arbitration and advocacy and have been included in the list of Who's Who Legal - Arbitration Future Leaders since 2019.
