I possess a range of practical experience in Manufacturing and low-level Management roles within the Supply Chain, Product Development and Production Functions with a verifiable record of achievement delivering on Objectives, KPI targets and Process Improvements. CORE COMPETENCIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS • Planning & Organisation : Successfully managed a varied product portfolio of 8500+ SKU’S over a 5-year period. I ensured optimum budgeted stock levels to prevent part orders which contributed to the organisational ‘Right on time in Full’ target of 98% whilst minimising slow moving & obsolete stock values. • Product Introduction: Introduced the ROUX premium product range in a development team. I led the setup of ALL In-house/Bought out parts for the Project control check list and liaised with Production areas and Supply Chain to establish process and offset times. • Technical: Aided the introduction of Autodesk Inventor CAD software by transitioning historical AutoCAD files, creating 350+ 3D Parts, Drawings and Models, utilizing Vault to control and issue manufacturing documentation. In process I have progressed to design a conceptual ‘Living Furniture’ range to supplement and grow established market stream. • Leadership : Lead team of 30+ multi skilled employees over a 4-year period in high volume manufacturing process managing all aspects of Staffing, Training, Production Quality, 5’s and Health & Safety to meet departmental production KPI’s and Objectives. • Process Improvement: As part of a project team devised and rolled out a multi-skilled Cellular manufacturing process in a cultural shift to team working, reducing lead times by 25% which contributed the business turnaround. I have also facilitated 200+ unstructured improvements, managed departmental 5’s systems and taken part in Kaizen/TPM events. • Coaching/Training: Helped streamline the training process, creating Training packages, establishing Standard Operating Procedures and Best practice. I liaised with Team Leaders to identify training needs to deliver training programs to optimise team flexibility.
