I have been involved in Healthcare for over 30 years, beginning as a Pharmacy Specialist serving in the Army. After leaving the Army, I volunteered working as a Firefighter/EMT, and became employed full time as an EMT. I went back to college and became a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. From there I moved to EHR support for CPSI, Medhost and GE Centricity and went back to college again transitioning into Nursing Informatics and Health Information Technology. I attended GE LinkLogic Certification and attended the Qvera Certification course and since have designed and implemented interfaces between many EHR and outside systems including EPIC, Medhost, CPSI, WISHIN, WIR, Your Care Universe,Dr Chrono,SnapMD and Nuance.
