About Marc Miles

I started training and teaching over 13 years ago. Soon after I realised I had a passion for helping students and audiences learn as fast as possible. I lived in Japan where I did my 'apprenticeship' in raw teaching. I taught English to raw beginners and high end execs that worked at companies like apple and microsoft. I did a masters in applied Linguistics, came back to Australia and worked in a University but got sick of students taking so long to get real world results and slow pace of learning and skills development. Decided to go on a personal journey studying and analyzing the Seminar World, NLP, how to run EFFECTIVE workshops, audience engagement, REAL speaker skills that work. I have now been in a role teaching the following for 7 years and have taught over a trainers throughout Australia- both brand newbie's and veterans alike- Cert 4 in Training and Assessment Diploma of Training and Assessment and Training Design. My two Pillars of focus- 1. Authentic Audience Engagement. No Rara BS, high 5 Stuff. Maximum retention of information by EVERY student/audience member regardless of the topic.
