About Marc Momplet

At 16 (2010), I founded Byron Skatewear, one of Spain's first e-commerce digital native brands. Over eight years, we sold over items and expanded into 10+ skate shops. In 2018, we launched Sunfire Bay, our women's clothing brand, aiming to be our "Roxy." It quickly outgrew the men's line, leading us to focus on sandals. Within six months, shoes outsold clothing. That's why we created Step by Store, a women's shoe brand. In under three years, we sold shoes, expanded to 30+ countries, and built a community of nearly customers. SBS was sold in 2021 to a shoe manufacturer. In 2020, I shifted to software, founding Vendfy™, Europe's first tool to help e-commerce brands track Influencer Marketing performance (ROI, revenue, sales, ROAS). In less than three months, we acquired over 1,300 customers, including Meller, Brava Fabrics, Calzedonia, and L'Oréal. This SaaS venture was later sold to a private equity firm from Qatar. In late 2022, we launched Hippy, Europe's fastest-growing CBD brand, and established it as the #1 CBD digital brand in Spain. Now, in 2024, we've created Black Comet™, an e-commerce management agency helping DTC brands create outstanding digital experiences. Our clients include Cold Culture™, Tattoox, Lico Cosmetics, and our own projects.
