My wife and I started drinkinGourd out of a bad experience. We attempted to have a website built years ago. The designer milked us for money by not telling us what we were asking for was not going to be possible. He also did a bad overall design job. Our website wasn't "sexy". I was in school for CuItural Anthropology, and so began to focus on Urban digital anthropology, in part to uncover how common an experience this was. Very. I also uncovered that less than 20% of Urban businesses are using online marketing; this contributes to the lack of successful Urban small businesses. The seed for drinkinGourd was born in these two discoveries. We decided to help small business owners gain access to affordable, high quality digital marketing solutions. I have 25 years of Direct Marketing and sales experience. As Creative Director I also ensure that every solution has been researched according to rigorous social science methodology.
