Mijn basisopleiding geneeskunde heb ik gevolgd in het Maastricht Universitair Medisch Centrum (MUMC+), waarna ik aldaar ook mijn verdere specialisatie tot cardioloog heb gevolgd. Gedurende mijn opleiding heb ik mij verder verdiept in de non-invasieve beeldvorming, waarbij ik er naar streef om het vak cardiologie na mijn opleiding in al zijn breedte uit te kunnen voeren. Na afronden van mijn opleiding ben ik als cardioloog werkzaam geweest als Chef de Clinique in het Jeroen Bosch Ziekenhuis te den Bosch en het VieCuri te Venlo. Na enkele jaren heb ik besloten om het ziekenhuis vaarwel te zeggen en ben ik een nieuwe uitdaging gestart als verzekeringsarts bij het UWV.
