About Marc Puig

I’m a Senior AI Engineer at BCG X. For the past three years, I’ve worked on Generative AI projects for global financial institutions, energy companies, and telcos. Most of my work has focused on AI customer service systems, including real-time voicebots and LLM-based conversational applications, as well as analytics built around those systems. A recurring part of the job has been applying AI at scale: reducing latency in real-time voice setups, running multi-model systems, and designing multi-cloud architectures that can meet cost, performance, and reliability constraints. My background is in software engineering, infrastructure, and MLOps. I’m usually involved across the full lifecycle, from system design and model integration to production rollout and operation. That includes platform work, cloud infrastructure, and the operational details that tend to matter once systems are live.On the technical side, I work mainly with Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. I spend a lot of time on architecture decisions, system behavior under load, and how development and operational workflows hold up over time.Outside of client work, I run small GenAI experiments and side projects. I’m interested in how GenAI is changing engineering teams, software development practices, and how complex systems are built and maintained, as well as its broader impact on society.
