About Marc Sevenich

As a dedicated scientist with a PhD in Biotechnology, I specialize in the discovery and development of innovative peptide-based therapeutics targeting neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. My core expertise includes peptide ligand identification and the biophysical characterization of protein-protein interactions. I bring hands-on experience in in vitro and ex vivo assays to assess drug-target engagement, as well as in designing pharmacokinetic and in vivo studies, including PK/PD modeling. For the past 6 years at Priavoid GmbH, I’ve worked at the intersection of science and business, contributing to the preclinical development of novel all-D-peptide drug candidates that target toxic protein oligomers—the root cause of neurodegeneration. As a project leader, I’ve successfully managed development programs, including an alpha-synuclein-targeted peptide for Parkinson’s disease. I’m driven by scientific rigor and a strong translational focus, committed to advancing therapeutic innovation from early discovery through to clinical application.
