About Marc Trines
DevOps Developer within the ORV* chain. My responsibilities are application design, realization, and implementation as well as consulting and assisting the end users in their daily use of the application. Specialties: Blueriq, Outsystems, Cobol, LIFE/400, Scrum, application design, functional and technical analysis. I worked on Mainframes and AS400 systems for 20+ years, but already have 5+ years of Blueriq experience, and on top of that already a year Outsystems. But most of all: I am able to adapt to changes. Doing the same thing over and over is not something that makes me happy. I like to try out new things, and I am always trying to develop myself further. For that reason I fulfilled the role as Scrum master. I currently work in a scrum team that is responsible for the total chain of a Life insurance policy (Overlijdensrisicoverzekering) My role is the design and build of the code, maintaining the application and working closely with the end users of the application. The DevOps mindset is very applicable here.*ORV: Overlijdensrisico Verzekering in Dutch. An insurance that covers the financial risk in case of death.
