About Marc Vansimpsen

Through my thirty years long career at Siemens, ATOS and then SWORD, I built a sound experience in Team and Project Management in the area of software development as well as in Business Development and Business Management for different customers (Telco, European Commission and Manufacturing). After having led different large software projects including the development and operation of a big intranet solution (EAI) for a Telco company, I had the P&L responsibility of the System Integration business for Siemens Business Services in Belgium and then was responsible for a delivery unit including international staffing and offshoring. I have then been, through 10 years, the Program and Service Delivery manager of several big consortium programs for different EU institutions and am now at the head of a PMO in Africa in order to deploy a aggregated Mobile Payment solution over 38 African countries I work in international projects and I am able to speak 4 European languages. I master teamwork with a business as well as technical orientation, continuous learning and diversified missions.
