About Marc Vidal

My name is Marc and I am a SENIOR PATTERN MAKER and FASHION DESIGNER with extensive and diverse experience in the Fashion and Textile Industry for more than 10 years. I'm focused on Tailoring, Outerwear, Sportswear, Denim and Woven, I am detail-oriented, fast learner and creative. During my career, I have had the opportunity to be founder and creative director of "Knowtown Barcelona S.L.", a company focused on the creation of affordable luxury garments, with production mostly located in Spain. My role involved the coordination of design and pattern departments, the creation of collections, the design of physical and digital patterns, as well as the management of local and international suppliers. In my last stage with "KNOWTOWN BARCELONA", focused on the luxury sector, I have worked closely with communication and branding agencies to build a solid brand strategy, in addition to collaborating with distribution agencies and luxury multi-brand stores. Unfortunately, and due to difficulties in obtaining financing and other market challenges, we found it necessary to cease the company's operations. I am convinced that my experience managing product development teams, from design to production, and my knowledge in commercial areas, quality control and purchasing, would allow me to add value to your team. Currently, I am looking for a new professional challenge in which I can work as a pattern maker, fashion designer or in quality control.
