About Marcel Biesmans

My key driver is to provide customers with high quality value-added services by means of innovative yet concrete and proven solutions. Further to my extensive experience and track record I also bring to the table dedication, focus, structure, and persistence. Applying this experience and these skills in an international, multi-lingual, multi-level and multi-cultural environment is what I do daily. In terms of education, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering. During my 30+ years of professional experience I held various international senior account management, sales, and business development positions. Initially in the Telecommunications Industry, but meanwhile I have shifted my activities to Business Process Outsourcing, Software Solutions, IT Services as well as Lead Generation Services. Until early 2009 I worked for large multinational corporations, but I then decided to start my own business and continue as an independent international sales and business development professional. Since then, I have worked on a multitude of short, mid- and long-term assignments with the objective to bring to market new solutions and services or help organizations expand outside their home market(s). Currently, this has resulted in a portfolio covering Automation, Consultancy, Digital Transformation and Customer Experience (CX). Geographically, my focus is on the Benelux and DACH regions because those fit best with my network and my language skills. In recent years a new dimension has been added. Where I used to focus on end-customer business, partner acquisition and bringing those to fruition has meanwhile become a significant portion of my activities for the different entities in my portfolio. In some areas this is proving far more efficient in terms of generating new business. When not at work I love spending time with family and friends. I am also a firm believer in ‘mens sana in corpore sano’, which for me translates into hiking, running, as well playing hockey and tennis on a regular basis, and if time permits also a nice round of golf.
