About Marcel Grimm

Me in a nutshell:"There hasn't been a single day in the last 7 years that I haven't been excited about helping the financial industry to shape the digital change and making the financial world more efficient, accessible, and user-friendly. Let’s shape the future together!" My journey in the financial industry started with my dual study program at KPMG, where I gained substantial experience in conducting annual audits for small foreign banks and various major clients in the German banking sector. My time at KPMG helped me to develop an independent and goal-oriented planning, execution, and documentation of a various financial services processes. After finishing my dual study program, I joined Exxeta to further develop my advisory skillset. One project was about the integration of ESG data vendors into the reporting workflow of a prominent asset management company. We were able to successful implement the broad process changes regardless of their great complexity. This was a great opportunity to further develop my ability to drive innovative solutions and collaborate effectively across cross-functional and international teams. In another project we created a blockchain solution for CO2 offsetting and the utilization of green electricity. This gave us the opportunity to offer our customers a new digital solution for a real-world problem. Furthermore, I am glad that LPA has given me the opportunity to expand my expertise in the areas of regulation, technology, and transformation projects and to take on more responsibility. In 2023 I had the chance to work for 5 months in Zürich, that enhanced my capability in collaborating with cross-functional and international teams and strengthened my ability to thrive under tight deadlines. We were working on a regulatory project to change an internal process for one of the biggest banks in Switzerland. Furthermore, my engagement in activities such as business development and forging partnerships increased and helped us in both client relationship cultivation and market involvement. I am very thankful for gaining invaluable experience in various facets of regulations, business strategy, transformation, and IT implementation throughout my career.
