About Marcel Kocifaj

I'm the Head of Product at Ringier Slovakia, leading product managers responsible for our media and community products. This new chapter, which began in July 2025, builds on an 8+ year career in the food delivery and e-commerce sector at Just Eat Takeaway.com. As a Senior Technology Manager there, my final major achievement was co-leading the successful migration of Bistro.sk from a local system to a global platform. Previously, I led the product and tech team for Bistro.sk, growing it to 17 people. Together, we launched key features, optimized delivery services, and drove the product improvements that maintained its #1 position in Slovakia. My passion, which started during my Management Science and Informatics studies, is for motivating teams to build and improve products that serve both customer and business needs. Outside of work, I enjoy sports and traveling. I thrive in international environments and love putting my skills to work on a new and exciting challenge.
