About Marcel Pakaski

My current career path is supply chain-centric and I am eager to experience the different facettes of supply chain management, ultimately heading towards a Supply Chain Manager role. Up until now I gathered experience in supply chain analysis, planning and execution, driving supply chain optimisation at the beginning of my career. As European Central Planner and Key-User for SAP APO I was able to proof myself in a manufacturing environment, getting to know the IT side of manaufacturing planning and supply chain execution in that regard. In order to change the perspective and get to know the demand side of the supply chain I took the role as Demand Planning Leader at Honeywell Specialty Chemicals, being responsible for a portfolio of diverse chemicals and a customer base all over the world, ensuring a stable forecast environment and low forecast errors with the use of SAP APO. In addition to my practical experience in supply chain management, I am a teamplayer when it comes to working cross-functional to drive good results. Doing that, I do not shy away from taking the team lead and coordinate the group to achieve defined goals. Furthermore, I am highly interested in working with IT solutions supporting Supply Chain planning and execution, like SAP APO or other advanced planning systems. Over time I gathered excellent Excel skills, being able to write VBA-Makros, work with Power Pivot as well as Power BI and am able to shape basic programs with JAVA. I am strong in other Microsoft Office Applications. Working with SAP ECC, SAP APO and Business Warehouse was necessary in every job I had up untill now and therfore I am very comfortable working with any SAP System and consider my skills as strong in that regard.
