About Marcel Rothering
Ever since I was a young boy I have been fascinated by natural phenomena. This was the main reason why I have studied physics and specialized to particle physics trying to get a deeper understanding of the laws nature obeys. During my PhD I got interested in Machine Learning and Data Science, due to the NNPDF collaboration which uses AI techniques to determine the structure of the proton. So I started to create my own simple neural network to get an idea how all this works. I liked it so much that I decided to leave physics and to join the Data Science community.
