About Marcel Wepper
Marcel Wepper was born in New York in 1980. In 2002 He earned a BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. After two years as a professional in the fashion advertising industry working on production and print design he moved to Los Angeles to attend the California Institute of the Arts. In 2008 he completed a Masters in Film and Video at the institution. His video piece, Bolero, world premiered at the Vienna International Film Festival in 2005. Marcel was the recipient of a prestigious grant from CalArts for the completion of his thesis film, Vega. The film world premiered at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in January of 2009. Professionally Marcel has worked the past five years building MARCEL WEPPER INC from a one-man company to a full service production hub that creates innovative and striking film and video content for clients in fashion and beauty. He now serves as the Creative Director and Director at Marcel Wepper Inc. overseeing a collective of innovative creatives in both production and post production. Marcel lives in Los Angeles with his two dogs Eva and Theo.
