About Marcela Brito

Be the protagonist of your career! In 2013, pregnant with my daughter Elisa, I worked in a public company in Rio de Janeiro while my husband, employed by the same company, worked at the Brasília unit (both public servants). Despite the current norm that allowed us to be together, an arbitrary choice by our bosses meant that we remained apart for the entire term. It was at this moment that I learned, through pain, that no professional should trust third parties with the management of their career. Because, after all, a career involves, first and foremost, our life. And at that moment mine was in the hands of the wrong people. After motherhood, I decided to take responsibility for my journey and immersed myself in a process of self-knowledge to reconnect with my strengths, my limitations and rethink the life model I wanted. Through this immersion process, I discovered that I needed to share my experience with other people and guide them to design a career model that is more aligned with their values ​​and essence through mentoring.
