I’m a safety and operations professional with 15+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing and industrial facilities, specializing in workforce training, high-hazard work controls, and field execution. I’ve spent my career bridging the gap between “what the procedure says” and what actually happens in the field—building practical systems, training teams hands-on, and driving safe, consistent performance.At Moses Lake Industries, I served as a Facilities Technical Trainer / Systems Specialist, training and qualifying hundreds of employees across operations, maintenance, and facilities. My work covered lockout/tagout, powered industrial trucks (Classes 1–7), scissor lifts, boom lifts, and safe work practices in complex industrial environments. I’m experienced reading and applying P & IDs and isometric drawings, and I’ve supported installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of chemical systems and equipment including pumps, pressure regulators, pressure transducers, filter housings, reactors, and crystallizers.I’ve also supported commissioning and startup efforts, including work on a new plant in Arizona and multiple new building startups at MLI in Moses Lake—bringing a safety-first, detail-driven approach to readiness, field verification, and execution. More recently, as a Project Safety Manager in roofing/exterior construction, I led jobsite safety efforts, delivered fall protection and hazard-recognition training, built JHAs and safety documentation, and drove compliance aligned with OSHA and Washington State L&I requirements.My strengths are clear communication, high standards, and building trust with crews—because safety only works when people understand it, believe in it, and can execute it under real conditions.
