About Marcell Onay

For the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of leading the Global End User Services team, supporting 14 offices in 13 countries. My team may be small and spread across four countries, but we deliver big impact — managing far more than a typical service desk. From user management and software packaging to IAM, unified communications, and enterprise voice systems, we own a wide portfolio: Omada IAM, WebEx, Igel, Azure, Innovaphone, Numecent Cloudpaging, dormakaba, and more. We handle desktop OS patching, application deployment, access control, voice recording solutions, and countless other services that keep the business running smoothly. I believe in building skills, taking on new technologies, and empowering my team members to lead their own areas of responsibility. Many have been with me for 7–15 years — a rare stability in IT — and I’m proud to have helped several colleagues take the next step in their careers. Collaboration is at the heart of how we work. We partner closely with infrastructure, platform operations, and development teams because, in IT as in sports, teamwork makes the dream work. Outside of work, you’ll find me traveling, exploring good food and craft drinks, or on the pitch coaching a U12 football team. I’m also fascinated by astronomy — because looking up reminds you there’s always more to discover.
