About Marcell Solano
Every learner matters! I'm pursuing my passion of supporting and bettering the lives of children. I've worked as an ESL Teacher for more than 10 years in Brazil. I used to teach English as an additional language to students from Primary School - children with SEND included - through a project-based, sensory and holistic curriculum. I have, thus, faced a range of learning difficulties such as ASC, ADHD, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia. Tailoring an innovative personalised curriculum that meets the needs of neurodivergent pupils has resulted in good and aspirational progress for me as an Educator which made me pursue more knowledge and experience in the area. I am currently based in the UK and I work in a special education school as an Associate Teacher. I support young people with autism and associated communication and learning needs alongside senior leadership and support team in a multidisciplinary curriculum.
