Project management is a process. I manage that process to deliver successful projects that satisfy stakeholders and end users alike. I am guided by my experience, constant learning, and common sense when it comes to executing a successful project. I believe in celebrating the victories with the team and coming to the table with solutions when a problem arises. No matter how much experience one has, issues may arise that have not been previously encountered. Resourcefulness is a key trait that I use to solve these problems. These new challenges are one thing that makes project management interesting! Project is often the key to whether a project is perceived as successful or not. Understanding the audience helps me deliver information in an appropriate format. A busy executive may not have time to read the weekly meeting minutes, but needs a high-level progress report, while those detailed meeting minutes are key to holding team members accountable. Coordination of engineering and architectural items are often best communicated with a sketch or a specification sheet.
