I have been actively working with the United Nations since I gained my work experience with the United Nations working at UNHQ's secretariats, namely with UNRWA and ESCWA in Beirut, UNEP in Montreal and Peacekeeping missions such as MINUSMA in Mali and MINUSTAH in Haiti.Throughout my professional career, I worked extensively in the area of human resources where I built an expertise. I also worked in the areas of procurement, protocol and general administration earning progressive responsible functions. I received appraisals and was numerously commended by high level senior members as being a solid team member of the administrative section. My drafting, writing and presentation skills are excellent. I read and write and dispatch all correspondence both in English and French. During my assignment in Bamako I was offered a temporary assignment to UNHQ New York in 2014 for a period of six months to take part in the initial phase of the "mission-wide classification project" with ODCU/FPD/DFS. I returned to MINUSMA in Mali to implement the project and was nominated by the DMS as the leader of the mission-wide classification project on behalf of MINUSMA. I served directly under the CHRO in the Specialized Support Unit (SSU) handling MEU cases, served as secretary of the SPA and rebuttal panel and was responsible for the induction sessions for new comers. I am IT proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project Professional. I have solid experience using the HR tools such as Inspira, UMOJA (HR Partner), E-FSS, MOP amongst other UN system tools. My mother tongue is French; I am proficient in English language and have a very sound knowledge of the Arabic language.
