About Marcelle Pienaar

As a commercial business manager, now with over 13 years of experience across a broad spectrum of top South African brands, I have had the privilege of conceptualising and managing some well-known business start-ups. I have a unique mix of operations management, traditional marketing, business development and commercial experience. It is this mix of skills that have provided me with an opportunity to grow a significant brand in the Cavi Brands business. I can conceptualise products and brand concepts and deliver fast-paced operational plans to execute on these business plans. At the same time I underpin the businesses I create with a strong functional structure and manage the commercial elements of the business to ensure maximum results. I have excellent leadership skills and bring together diverse teams to create focus from an unstructured business. My analytical skills enable me to look at the finer detail to explicate this information into viable business concepts. I work well independently and have often been in roles whereby I act as a turnaround agent within a business that requires a new strategy. Whilst dealing with multiple stakeholders in my current business I am able to take a business concept to market successfully, further delivering to customers. In my current capacity, I drive business concepts at a strategic level to produce reliable bottom line results which ensures that the business is on a commercial upward trajectory.
