About Marcellius Washington

I have worked in different industries and gained many skills, but my love of computers and the IT field has allowed me to graduate on June 26, 2021, with an AA in Computer Information Systems with a Concentration on Network. Halfway through my education, I realized that I would like to get into Systems Administrator. With the right environment and the correct Senior Admin that is willing to take me under their tutelage I know, I can be a great asset. My job experience in the IT field now various from working at a data center and now at an MSP, and my experience with computer hardware and software has made me proficient. I have experience with Active Directory, Troubleshooting, and other IT skills. My biggest asset is my Customer Service and Interpersonal skills which in this industry is a skill that many technicians don't have or is having a hard time trying to cultivate. I'm a very fast learner and willing to work with anyone, and with little supervision. I am not afraid to ask questions and research problems. I know how to escalate a problem if I have done my due diligence and still can't solve the issue. I am still working on my certificates but that will come in time. If you think I can be a great fit for your company please don't hesitate to contact me. The one thing I will protest against is the commute to work. If it takes me almost an hour to work in the morning and almost an hour and a half in the evening I will let you know up front that I will pass respectfully unless I can work remotely from home four days out of the week.
