About Marcello Bacchini

When I started working in the family business I realized that what I was doing did not satisfy me completely. I didn't want to limit myself and I followed my passion for architecture by studying and following the great masters. I believe that architecture must originate from ideas and concepts before becoming form, and cannot be dissociated from the events and movements of the living beings that inhabit it. Buildings respond and intensify the activities that occur within them by combining spaces, movements and events. Since the projects I work for are not for me, I have to be able to separate what I personally like from what the customer wants. This attitude allows me to embrace the constantly evolving and transforming the landscape. Sustainability, efficiency, innovation, guarantee, safety, design, every detail of our creations is designed to make each house a unique work. I am a curious and energetic person, I believe in stimulating projects and when I decide to embrace one, I do it with all the enthusiasm and strength possible: The world is in continuous evolution and what drives me every day to look beyond is the strength of the past, with new lymph of the present and a sort of foresight of a non-predictable future, which helps to rebuild a richer and deeper bond between us and the place where we live.
