About Marcello de Vitis

As an experienced professional in the sector of biodiversity conservation, I develop, manage, and deliver programs and projects through the application of a bottom-up collaborative, multidisciplinary, evidence-based and proactive approach. My skills and experience in knowledge-transfer and communications, accompanied by the ability to facilitate collaborations and partnerships, are key to build and maintain solid and long-lasting relationships with stakeholders. My experience spans from research, training, mentoring, grant writing, project and program planning, management and monitoring, stakeholder engagement, dissemination and outreach. I use a clear and effective style of communication to interact with and coordinate groups of collaborators, and to disseminate complex concepts to different audiences (ranging from communication, marketing, commercial, and academic teams, as well as the general public) to increase the accessibility of project findings. Either as in a leading or supporting role, I bring projects to a success.
