About Marcello Mattei

I love looking at data! I am an entry level data scientist with wide experience on data manipulation, visualization, and algorithm creation in the medical and healthcare fields. I am passionate about producing tools that will help patients have a better quality of life. I’ve created different algorithms for extracting information from large sets of electrocardiography data from patients to help them deal with their arrhythmias. My passion for data has inevitably taken me to neural networks, which I have performed extensive research on. I am currently in the process of developing my own architecture and loss functions for prediction of complicated blood flow patterns inside of aneurysms! This is important because these patterns can give physicians an idea of how at risk a patient could be, and currently there are no hospital friendly tools out there. I look forward to connecting with you! I am a very social person and value human connection and interaction above all else. I love to be engaged in my community and supporting educational, social, and volunteering initiatives, which my time as a resident director has deeply engraved in my values. Feel free to reach out!
