About Marcello Risitano

Marcello Risitano (Ph.D. in Business Science, Federico II University of Naples, Italy) is an Associate Professor of Management at Parthenope University of Naples, where he teaches Brand Management, Customer Experience Management, Marketing Metrics, Operations Management & Logistics, Management for Blue Economy Companies. His research is focused on the areas of strategic management, marketing & branding management, tourism industry, maritime logistics management. In these scientific areas, he coordinated and coordinates numerous research projects and training courses. Marcello’s works have been discussed in several academic conferences and published in peer re-viewed journals. Since 2014, he is a member of the Junior Board of Italian Marketing Society. Since 2015, he is a member of Executive Board of Department of Management Studies and Quantitative Methods (Parthenope University of Naples). Since 2016, Marcello Risitano is Scientific Director of MAR.TE. Laboratory – Sea-Land Logistics, an Italian consortium that manage and promote R&D projects related to pre-competitive development and operations management in maritime industry. He is a member of Scientific Board for RIS3 - Smart Specialization Strategies in Transport & Logistics - Campania Region. In October 2018, he was habilitated as Full Professor in Management by MIUR.
