I’m an agronomist, graduated from Universidad de la República (Uruguay), with specializations in Marketing and Finance from Boston University (USA), Global Economics from the London School of Economics (UK), and an MBA in Business Management from EGADE Business School (Mexico). My professional journey began in sales, and I still remember the first product I sold as a technical sales consultant: YaraLiva Calcinit. I could never have imagined that, two decades later, I would be leading Yara in Brazil — the very company behind that first product. Looking back, I’m confident that I’m exactly where I’ve always wanted to be. I strongly believe in the power of collaboration and diversity as key drivers of transformation. My leadership style is open, approachable, and rooted in active listening. I see teams as constellations of complementary talents, where every profile plays a vital role in achieving superior results.
