About Marcelo Kaschel

Chemical Engineer from the Universidad de Concepcion, Consultancy Group Manager and Process Chief Engineer at Pares & Alvarez, a company that in its more than 25 years of existence has been positioned itself in various productive sectors as one of the leaders in the field of engineering; and providing services in consulting (pre and feasibility), engineering and management of EPC / EPCM projects. I have more than 25 years of experience, starting as a Research Engineer and a Master in Engineering candidate at the Universidad de Concepción in 1994 and then moving to P&A in 1995 as a Project Engineer. At this stage, I developed projects related to studies and engineering in the field of energy and petrochemicals, mainly. In and for a period of 10 years I served as the Process Engineering Department for P&A. During this time I planned, managed, monitored and reviewed the Basic Engineering work developed by a team of over 30 professionals. Projects included the areas of petrochemicals, mining, energy, food, pharmaceutical, wood, etc. Since 2010, as Consultancy Group Manager, my responsibilities include the management and technical supervision of the team, providing engineering expertise and knowledge in this field. I must ensure optimal conditions to maintain the best performance of the team, an efficient allocation of resources to ensure compliance with deadlines and targets. Additionally, I am responsible for maintaining relationships with various customers as well as generate and establish new business opportunities and new projects. With over 25 years of experience and over 450 projects in P&A, my commitment is to the development an steady growth of our group through the excellence and quality of our work.
