I am a seasoned marketing and business development professional with over 25 years of experience in leading regional and global campaigns that increase brand awareness, engage target audiences, leverage technology and data analytics, and deliver high ROIs. As the General Manager of FIU Athletics at Van Wagner, I oversee sponsorships and multimedia sales for one of the largest and most diverse public universities in the country, collaborating with senior leadership in the Athletics Department to create lasting corporate partnerships that support the athletes and contribute to the growth and success of the strategic plan. In addition to my current role, I am the founder and president of KB Soccer, a $1.8 million youth soccer club and business enterprise, where I manage board governance, business operations, marketing, and sponsorship for a staff of 40 people. Under my leadership, the club has increased its enrollment by 340% over the last five years, reaching over registered players, and ranked among the top clubs in Florida and Top 5 clubs in Miami-Dade County. I also serve as a strategic advisor for SportsBiz, a startup that provides innovative solutions for sports organizations and fans. I assist the business development team to identify potential clients and participate in the development and testing of the MVP. I am passionate about building brands, creating value, and driving growth through sponsorship, experiential, and event management, digital and social media marketing, and customer relationship management. I am fluent in Spanish and English, and highly proficient in Portuguese. I hold an MBA from the University of Miami Business School, a BBA from American University, and a BS in Zoology from the University of Maryland.
