Process improvement, technical writing, and knowledge transfer are three of my superpowers. I enjoy leading teams, assisting others in honing their skills, and system organization. My competitive nature marries well with my love of creative problem-solving. Finding root causes, collaborating with teams, implementing solutions, and documenting for the future fills my cup! With a deep desire to dive into the tech world, I am working to obtain my CompTIA A+ certification. I aim to transition into a role where every day looks different, challenges my troubleshooting skills, and allows me to leave people better off than how we met. In the meantime, I work as an independent contractor making the lives of my clients so much easier. While working on a curriculum in both Marshallese and English, we found that our translation colleagues had to copy and paste letters with the appropriate diacritics. It was very tedious work that took an obscenely long time. Upon research, I found that keyboard languages can be changed, and that te reo Māori had a lot of common symbols. After creating guides and training, this solution proved to be wildly successful! Reducing translation time by 83% and making our team's job easier.
