Background
About Marcia Campos
I've dedicated my life to advancing the interests of the Latin American migrant community, as an advocate for disabilities rights, promoting public health and working to foster peace in any capacity I can. I am currently President of the Board and Adjunct Faculty at the Western Institute for Social Research (WISR) and a Board Member and DIrector of the "North of Tlatelolco" project at the Western States Legal Foundation, a non-govermental organization affiliated to the United Nations, seeking to abolish nuclear weapons. I'm a psychologist by training from the University of Chile, with a Masters from the Latin American Faculty for Social Sciences (FLACSO) with Doctoral Studies from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). I was a tenured professor at Mexico's National School of Anthropology and History (INAH) and I have a diploma in US Foreign Policy from San Francisco State University.
