My research work center on biochemistry and immunology. Specifically, identification and characterization of novel proteins participating in intracellular signal transduction pathways and their involvement in mediating and regulating immune responses as well as on how viruses are detected by, and how they seek to subvert innate immune signaling pathways. My work contributed to multiple research projects involving international collaborations and leading to publications in high impact journals including Nature Immunology, EMBO Journal and PLoS Pathogens.
