Experienced IT Manager and system Architect with a profound IT engineer background. I have formal education in IT Governance and computer science, including systems and networking. My work experience includes over 12 years within shipping industry and professional on and off-shore IT systems. I'm responsible for operations of company’s entire fleet IT infrastructure. I’m sourcing and coordinating international IT service partners for new and existing IT and communication projects. I’m tracking and reporting the progress to internal stakeholders, managing requirements, risks and budgets. Actively participating in the engineering part of the project is also sometimes needed, to ensure all deliverables are according to requirements of internal fleet management department. I also manage currently running SLA and ensure execution in timely matters which sometimes requires creating and approving changes within existing IT processes as well instructions and manuals.* SLA management and ITIL service life-cycle;* In-depth understanding of iterative service delivery methodologies;* DevOps management;* IT project management;* System architect;* Strong interpersonal skills with personal impact;* Highly motivated, result-driven, solution oriented and innovative; I have broad experience with offshore communication systems from Inmarsat including FleetBroadband, INM-C/B/M, Fleet 33/77, GSM and marine broadband solutions like VSAT and recently initiated Fleet Xpress project. I introduced and implemented High-Availability system concept into company’s fleet to make sure business critical systems and applications are not affected by system malfunctions. Currently 2nd iteration of HA system is distributed to the fleet. I've also wide experience with dedicated marine platforms from vendors like GTmaritime, Dualog, Amos or Navarino. As well with fleet management systems like BASSnet or TM-Master incl. good knowledge of offshore bridge and navigation systems.
