About Marco Aerts

The first step to understanding, is to create awareness. I am a very driven personality, with a passion for my work. Throughout the years I have gained a solid and diverse knowledge and experience in a wide range of activities. I always want to know what I am doing, I am not afraid to say no (well reasoned of course) and I don't like to take things for granted. What I have enjoyed a lot in the past 20 years is the communication between MT and the other departments and the fact that I am able to translate from MT to production or another departments, but also vice versa. I have noticed that this creates a closer bond and a better understanding between departments. Work processes and especially the human side of them have always had my interest. Whether this relates to the documentation or the observation and analysis of a work process is of less importance. What is important is that a process must run as efficiently as possible and in my opinion the first step in this is to create awareness. What are you doing, why do I have to take this step at this point in the process and how do I ensure that a process becomes uniform? My skillset contains- Create, support and maintain work instructions, procedures and specifications- Create, assign, track and manage complaints- Coordinating (planning, structuring and prioritizing projects and activities)- Decent knowledge of tools like LEAN, ISO, Document Management- Experienced in training people and being a mentor- Experienced in MS Office and other Office tools / packages- Experienced in SAP, Adobe (Acrobat, PhotoShop, InDesign), PrintSoft PReS and WindChill- Experienced in various Operating Systems- Familiar with additional tooling such as Sharepoint, iCloud, OneDrive and Google Drive- Familiar with MDR and FDA regulations- Global advisor on Artwork development, specifications and equipment for on- and offline printing- Guide / deploy / introduce new working methods- Provide IT, Customer and Technical Support- Process improvement through ownership and LEAN improvement proposals- Quality assurance, SLA management and assurance of customer specs.
