About Marco Antonio Ravini
Marco-Antonio is an Italian/American citizen, born and raised in Athens, Greece. In 2015, he graduated from School of Architecture at Syracuse University with a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree, magna cum laude. His thesis, titled “THICK MATTERS: The de-optimization of Infrastructural Redundancies”, explored the capacity for architecture to engaged the growing crisis of public infrastructure in the United States, prototyping and design of a new Liberty bridge in Pittsburgh, PA. The project was selected to participate in the Super Jury Exhibition. Building on his formative education as an Architect, Marco has previously worked in design studios in Syracuse, Copenhagen and Athens. He has contributed to the design and production of two design-build projects and various competitions entries, ranging from a single family home to urban planning. Additionally, he has gained experience in 3D visualization working in London and has completed freelance work as a graphic designer.
