About Marco Arena

Marco Arena is a Computer Engineer and Community Manager, experienced in C++ Software Development.He works at *Tetra Pak* as one of the technical leaders in the Equipment Data Engineering and AI team which aims at designing fully autonomous packaging lines. Previously - from 2011 to 2019 - he served the *Ferrari F1 Team* and worked on mission-critical telemetry and simulations software crucial in enabling engineers to set up the most competitive F1 car on the track.Beyond the code, Marco is also a 13+ years experienced community manager, organizer, blogger, and speaker: he birthed the *Italian C++ Community* in 2013,*Coding Gym* in 2016, and ML Modena in 2020. Together, these initiatives have welcomed thousands, hosting meetups, coding laboratories, online events, and international conferences. In 2020, he co-founded the ISO C++ Italian body.Recognized for his efforts, Marco has received the *Microsoft MVP* award ten times since 2016.Although he is a C++ aficionado, Marco thinks that "the best fighter is someone who can adapt on any style". Hence, he is keen on using different languages and paradigms to find the best solutions that meet the problem constraints.
